  • Get Active.

Physical fitness is an important aspect for your loved one’s health! Furthermore, a routine can help keep your loved one engaged. Be sure to keep active with a simple routine! Enjoy a good magazine or watch what is happening outside! Another idea can be to meditate quietly as you are getting your needed sunlight. Being inside too often can create a Vitamin D deficiency. Finally make sure to take your loved one to their regular routine checkup to make sure their levels are where they should be.

  • Try new hobbies that are Senior friendly and Socialize!

  • Remember the Past.

Print out photos of their family and friends. Have your loved one create a scrapbook of all their loved ones, and write their names next to each photo! Then this will help with memory recall and at any moment, they can see photos of their loved ones. You can also keep your loved one engaged by having their caregiver also take out the photo album to see it together. At the same time, they can share a story with them about their favorite moment together with each person in the photo album.
